I want to give you some more news on what I told you about back in September 2026. So, I am in the process of putting together a new game that will start from the 1st of January 2027. It is almost ready to be shared with you. As I told you back then it will be called FLNL Sprint 2027. It will feature ten leagues, the three EFL leagues, the three National leagues and the Northern Premier, the Isthmian Premier, Southern Premier Central and the Southern Premier South.
It is basically a straight run from the 1st of January 2027 to the end of the season. It will feature the normal jokers and super jokers and a new feature which I am calling the Super Month. In the FLNL Sprint 2027 there will be just one super month and that will be the month of March 2027. During that month every team will receive double points. That means any joker you are playing with will get four times the points and your super joker will get six times the points for that one month.
The game will open for entry from Tuesday 1st December 2026, and the entry deadline will be midnight on Thursday 31st December 2026. There will be an on-line entry, and you will also be able to download an entry form from my website. Around the middle of November 2026, I will be putting the game up on my website and at that stage I will put the games rules up on the website so you can see how the competition will work. I hope you are up for the challenge and please spread the word to your mates.
I will be running this competition completely on my own which means the updates will not feature in either the Non-League Paper or The Football League Paper. The weekly updates will only feature on my website.
The cost to enter FLNL SPRINT 2027 will be £5 per entry, and you can enter as many times as you want. Each £5 will be broken down as follows £1 will be an admin fee for the running of the game and the remaining £4 will go into the prize fund. So, if we get 200 players the prize fund will be £800. Once I have a final total of players on the 31st December 2026 I will announce the breakdown of the prizes. Depending on how many players I get will also depend on whether or not there will be Manager of the Month prizes in the game. If you run a business or know someone who does and they would like to sponsor this new venture that would be most welcome.
